Brae House Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located on the edge of the small market town of Aberfeldy and provides the perfect base from which to explore some of Perthshire's famous walks and gardens.
Visitors can trace the steps of Robert Burns on the strenuous walk up through the Birks 'o Aberfeldy to the Falls of Moness, or play a relaxing game of golf at Aberfeldy's extensive 18-hole golf course straddling both sides of the River Tay.
For the more adventurous, there is an exciting choice of outdoor activities, such as hill-walking, mountain biking and cycling, as well as kayaking, canyoning, gorge walking and white-water rafting.
Those who wish to pursue more leisurely activities can try clay shooting, Salmon and Trout fishing (permits can be arranged by the us) or take a step back in time at The Crannog Centre, a reconstruction of an Iron Age loch dwelling, where visitors can test their skills at ancient crafts such as wood turning and fire lighting.
Brae House is within easy reach of Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow and only a short drive from Pitlochry and its popular festival theatre.
Guided walks to suit a range of abilities are available at ?20 per person for a half day and ?40.00 per person (including packed lunch) for a full day.
